Coronach Legion is an organization that helps raise money for war veterans. There is a Remembrance Service at the Coronach School; they also sell poppies and wreaths around Coronach. The money raised is used to buy things for veterans homes and donated to hospitals.  There is also a Legion Hall in Coronach, which the Kinsmen and Kinette Club maintain.  Upstairs in the Hall are photos, and medals displayed to pay tribute to Veterans and the members of the Legion. You are welcome to send Veteran’s photos for display. The organization was established in 1953, then the Auxiliary was started in 1954

Hospital Auxiliary
Pres - Lola Gerde
Secretary - Karen Olshanoski
Treasurer - Arleane Winter

The hospital Auxiliary is a group of volunteers dedicated to raising money to purchase things for the health centre (ex: A hair dryer, a four wheel scooter).  They have a spring tea once a year. The organization sells Go Bags available at the health centre, Drug store and will also have them at the trade fair. A Go Bag is an emergency, but also have a card to put your health information on. The card is handy in case of an emergency you can store your Go Bag close to an entrance so that you can grab it and take it to the hospital, or so an emergency responder can find it. They meet once a month and are always looking for new volunteers.
